Course Objective

Instrumental applications of chemical reactions based on electron exchange, analytical analysis and separation methods and instrumental techniques will be studied both theoretically and practically in this course

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students are expected to know oxidation-reduction reactions, redox potential, Nernst's law, electromotive force - batteries and electrochemical reactions and their analytical applications
2   Students are able to explain conductivity, potentiometry, polarimetry, coulometry, voltammetry, and amperometry methods and for what purpose these methods are used
3   Students are able to make the practice of electroanalytical methods in environmental analysis
4   Students are expected to to carry out ideas about microanalytical applications
5   Students are able to explain electroanalytical titration techniques
