Course Objective

To understand the structure and functions of the peripheral, central and autonomic nervous systems and to distinguish neuroanatomical structures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding peripheral nervous system structures and spinal cord
2   Recognize spinal nerves and muscle innervations
3   To learn the structures of the brain stem, diencephalon and telencephalon
4   To know the somatic and autonomic nervous system
5   To learn cranial nerves and their functions
