Course Objective

User training, writing for tender, preparation of specifications, medical device selection, purchasing and acceptance, establishing biomedical technical service, biomedical technical service units and division of labor, techniques for maintenance and repair, safety in medical devices, risk types and precautions, sterilization and It is aimed to teach sterilization rules.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to learn standards related to calibration
2   Ability to recognize calibrators.
3   Ability to perform tests using calibrators and measuring instruments
4   Ability to calibrate biomedical devices
5   Ability to learn measurement and reporting.

5 Medical Device procurement tenders, Tender process, Tender commission structure
6 Proforma Invoice, Proforma invoice samples and proforma invoice preparation studies
7 Medical device reports and preparation studies
8 Midterm exam
9 Calculating Maintenance and Repair Costs for Biomedical Devices
10 Inventory studies on medical devices
11 Archiving studies on medical devices
12 Technical Service Stock Management
13 Technical Service Risk Management
14 Technical Service Risk Management and Protection Measures
