Course Objective

In this course; it is aimed to gain the material selection and able to examine competences to the students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to examine the structure, crystallization, alloy and phase diagrams of materials
2   Ability to theoretically recognize internal and external structural defects of the material
3   Ability to classify steels and non-ferrous materials
4   Ability to recognize mechanical tests of materials
5   Ability to explain destructive and non-destructive testing methods
