Course Objective

In this course, ensure to students to learn and apply quality control programs for all treatment and diagnostic devices and systems used in radiotherapy to providing work at appropriate standards.

5 Quality Control Systems Integrated into Treatment Devices
6 Quality Control (QC) in CT Simulators
7 Quality Control (QC) in Treatment Planning Systems
8 Daily check of linear accelerator (practice).
9 Multi-Leaf Collimators (MLC) and Their Quality Control (QC)
10 Control of Gantry-Collimator Movements in Conventional Linear Accelerators, Control of Optical and Mechanical Angle and Distance Indicators
11 Quality Control (QC) of Brachytherapy Systems
