Course Objective

To allow students to learn the common terminology used in the medical field, to familiarize them with the normal structure of systems in human body and organs that form these systems and teach them the structure-function relationship both in theory and practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the basic anatomy terminology.
2   Explain the anatomy of the bones that make up the movement system.
3   Explain the anatomy of the joints that make up the movement system.
4   Explain the anatomy of the muscles that make up the movement system.
5   Explain the anatomy of the heart.
6   Explain the anatomy of the circulatory system.
7   Explain the anatomy of the respiratory system.
8   Explain the anatomy of the gastrointestinal tract
9   Explain the anatomy of the urinary system
10   Explain the anatomy of the female and male genitalia
11   Explain the anatomy of the central and peripheral nervous system
12   Explain the anatomy of the endocrine system
