Course Objective

The students gain attitudes and behaviors necessary for the protection and development of the health of the individual, the family and the society

1   To be able to associate health and health related concepts
2   To be able to evaluate risk factors and the factors affecting health
3   To be able to aware of individual health behaviors and taking responsibility for their health
4   To be able to learn healthy lifestyle behaviors and exhibiting them in their own life
5   To be able to explain nurses rol on health promotion and protection.
6   To be able to define health promotion practices according to their life periods
7   To be able to explain the importance of behavior change process in gaining positive health

In the assessment of the course, 50% of the midterm grade and 50% of the final grade shall determine the semester grade.
