Course Objective

It is aimed for the student to understand the different roles/responsibilities of an architect in professional practice and to develop his/her professional experience.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Provided that you have been actively contributing for at least 30days (minimum 5 hours a day) and can document this;
- Within the scope of the National Internship Program organized under the Presidency of the Presidency, in the units of Public Institutions and Organizations that produce architectural projects,
- In companies operating in the field that have a cooperation protocol with the Faculty / accepted by the Faculty Board of Directors
- Archaeological excavations and restoration projects (approved by the head of the excavation/project or the authorized person within the scope of the relevant work)
- In scientific research projects (BAP/TÜBITAK) or university revolving fund projects carried out by faculty members,
- Summer/winter school and similar studies accepted by the Faculty Executive Board as vocational education/practice (may consist of different/intermittent activities in different periods provided that they complete 30 days) vocational training and practical experiences. It is possible to do it during or outside the academic year.
The process is coordinated by the instructor of the relevant course. The student is obliged to obtain approval from the instructor before the process and to submit the evaluation documents at the end of the process.

Assessment Criteria

At the end of the process, the student is obliged to submit a portfolio presentation bearing the approval of the authorized person who will document the participation in professional practice/project/training. Course description, functioning and rules of the course will be followed.
