Course Objective

This course focuses on the renovation of the physical environment in the process of globalization. In order to understand the concept, the constitution and the evolution of the theory, main factors, physical/ social/ cultural/ economical inputs, actors, methods, laws and regulations are to be undertaken. Besides, contemporary approaches on the renovation theory are to be discussed through different interventions and implementations.

1   Defining the Renovation Phenomenon and its evaluation process.
2   Defining the factors of the renovation interventions.
3   Defining the legal regulations that effects the renovation interventions.
4   Questioning the renovation interventions through different implementations and methods.
