Course Objective |
The course aims to give information about technological innovations applied in architecture. It includes technological innovation, types of innovation, eco-innovation (green innovation), the effects of technological innovations on architecture, technological innovations in the building materials (concrete, steel, wood, glass, titanium, membrane, composite etc.), and cutting-edge technological innovations such as nanotechnology and smart building materials, digital design technologies (e.g. virtual and augmented reality, building information modelling-BIM), automated construction (e.g. 3D printing, construction robots). |
