Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide application based information on reinforced concrete foundations, general features of the reinforced concrete construction system and stairs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognizing the general principles and components of reinforced concrete structural system
2   Recognizing the types of foundation systems
3   Recognizing the technical drawing of concrete elements
4   Recognizing the types and stair balancing methods of stairs, recognizing the types of stairs such as; reinforced concrete, masonry, woodwork and metalwork, as well as their structural principles
5   Recognizing the types of covering materials and structural components used on the stairs
