Course Objective

In this lesson, the aim is to explain the concept of environment, to tell environmental data, components of natural, social and built environment and their interactions with each other, to think about what the architecture and space are, to inform students about architecture discipline.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to define environment, built environment concepts and the characteristics of built environment
2   be able to explain the human behaviours & needs and its effects to the space
3   be able to explain the studies about spatial perception
4   be able to define the architecture and space concepts and explain the features of architectural space
5   be able to explain the architectural design process and can analysis the architectural design approaches
