Course Objective |
The course aims to give thermodynamic properties and equations of solutions, to investigate the behavior of the solutions and the reactions under different conditions, to get knowledge about relationship between the phase equilibrium diagrams and free energy curves of solutions, to calculate some properties using measurable properties and to utilize the thermodynamic properties of solutions on the design of metallurgical processes. |

Midterm exams and final exams related to learning outcomes are given as usual closed book and closed note written exams. Homework results will also be included in the term time assessment. |
