Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to introduce glass structure and glass forming abilities, explain the required properties of glass forming raw materials and familiarize glassforming reactions, describe the temperature-viscosity relationship of glassphase, acquaint glass cooling curve and procedures, give information about glass production technology, shaping methods and diverse glass types, describe glass defects and glass melting furnaces, give information about the properties and heattreatment of glasses. |
