Course Objective

The aim of this course is to acquire students the skills of conducting literature research on any subject in the discipline of computer engineering, reporting the information obtained, and presenting report outputs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explanation of a selected subject related to Computer Engineering
2   Researching solution strategies on the subject from the literature
3   Selecting the appropriate solution strategy among alternatives
4   Gaining the ability to prepare written reports on the subject
5   Gaining the ability to present the subject in front of the public with different presentation techniques

1 Topic selection with the help of an advisor
2 Learning effective literature research techniques
3 Literature research on the selected topic
4 Learning alternative solutions through literature research
5 Comparison of solutions learned in literature research
6 Revealing the place of the subject in the Computer Engineering discipline
7 Planning the implementation of the selected solution on the issue
8 Progress on the issue and solution techniques
9 Preparation of examples related to the subject
10 Determining the main headings of the report
11 Detailing the report with available information
12 Determining the content of the seminar presentation
13 Completion of report and seminar presentation preparations
14 Report submission and seminar presentation
