Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

Have Understood the paradox between the original design purpose of Internet protocol and Quality of Service (QoS) efforts.
Comprehend the trade-off between protocol add-ons or add-on protocols and the solutions they supply.
Understand concept of congestion reducing and distrubuted regulation of network utilization by Transport protocols
Apprehend the probabilistic modelling of network packet traffic and related mathematical analysis techniques.
Be able to note to the long term dependencies resulting from the intention of independent usage of network resources
