Course Objective

To gain knowledge about connection shapes and welding groove shapes obtained by welded manufacturing, weldability, and to teach the problems encountered in the welding of different materials and the precautions to be taken against these problems.

1   Teaching of welding groove and joint types
2   Teaching of welding of carbon steels
3   Teaching of TTT diagrams, CT diagrams
4   Teaching of welding of fine grain high strength steels
5   Teaching of welding of stainless steels and cold resistant steels
6   Teaching of welding of hot resistant materials
7   Teaching of welding of different metals (Cast iron, Copper and aluminum alloys)
8   Teaching of fusion welding metallurgy
