Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the student with a good understanding of the design principles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will describe and, categorize elements of design.
2   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to use the elements of desing to a new design.
3   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will analysis to alternatives of new designs for predefined works.
4   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to justify to possible results of a predefined designs.
5   At the end of the course it is expected that the student will be able to explain, criticize and judge to the example designs.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

One midterm exam is done and assignment is given during the semester. To assess the course; the midterm exam, assignment, and final exam are considered as 40%, 10%, and 50%, respectively.

Assessment Criteria

LO1,LO2, and LO3 are considered by the midterm exam; LO3, LO4, and LO5 are considered by the final exam; LO1, LO2, and LO5 are considered by the assignment.
