Course Objective

The objective of this course is to teach the basis of the condition monitoring of machines and techniques used for fault detection.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To determine the reasons of machine fault 2   To use of the techniques based on the vibration 3   To identify the vibration signal with techniques of the time and frequency domains 4   To determine the fault detection of gearbox, bearing and shaft etc. by using time and frequency domains. 5   To make the experimental work.
