Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to provide students main theorical knowledges, tables and diagrams, gear design examples for design and manufacture gears and gear reductions. So that, students resize, drawing, manufacturing and performing quality control of gears. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Theory of the course and examples are taught by presentations. The course is given and solve problems that benefiting from these presentations. It takes in the form of question and answer. It is allowed project-based learning. Students exercising their theorical knowledges and observing gear manufacture, quality control processes with to stay ½ day in three different gear factories. |

One midterm exam is done. Final exam affects 50 percent. Each student should prepare assignment (20%). |

ÖÇ1,ÖÇ2,ÖÇ3 and ÖÇ5 are considered by exams, ÖÇ4 is considered by factory reports and by exams |
