Course Objective

The aim is to teach chemical analysis methods and their applications in mining.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the definitions of surface chemistry and surface reactions.
2   Acquire knowledge about adsorption isotherms and solid-liquid interfaces.
3   Understand the fundamentals of surface thermodynamics.
4   Grasp the role of surface chemistry in ore beneficiation.
5   Be able to apply surface chemistry in ores.
