Course Objective |
Gravity concentration technology stands out as an indispensable method for the enrichment of chromium, iron, gold, coal and heavy mineral containing alluvial ores. In this course, the principles of gravity concentration and the factors affecting the efficiency of this method will be explained to the students. Different techniques of gravity concentration, effects of ore characteristics on the process and the major points in development of a gravity concentration process flowsheet will be discussed in details. Finally, the information about the mineral processing plants of Türkiye employing gravity concentration methods will be delivered to the students. |
