Course Objective

To teach students basic principles and applications of the softwares commonly used in earth sciences

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to use vector-based editor software used in geological studies at a basic level
2   To be able to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software used in geological studies at basic level
3   To be able to use computer aided design (CAD) software used in geological studies at basic level
4   To be able to use office software in report writing studies at a basic and advanced level
5   To be able to use rock and water chemistry interpretation software used in geological studies
