Course Objective

This course aims to consolidate basic English knowledge and develop reading, comprehension, writing skills and vocabulary of students with the help of texts written in English about different subjects of geology.

2   Understanding the English text about magmatism, metamorphism, and sedimentation and the rocks formed as a result of these processes
3   Understanding the English texts about geological time, stratigraphy, unconformities, and relative age

5   Understanding the English texts about fossils and the evolution of the Earth and life
