Course Objective

Inform about the basic statistical methods and applications .

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to recognize the data types and classes encountered in areas of science.
2   To be able to find the measures of central tendency of the data ( mean, mod, median, moments etc.) identifies the positions relative to each other.
3   To be able to calculate the probability of an event to result in the case of uncertainty about the formats.
4   To be able to calculate the Binomial, Poisson, Normal (Gaussian) probability distributions.
5   To be able to examine the relationship between two variables.
6   To be able to query the relationship between dependent and independent variables by regression analysis.
