Course Objective

To be able to learn the geophysical applications of the Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to learn the concepts of GIS, components, data structures and application fields. 2   Be able to digitize maps 3   Be able to carry out analysis on digitized maps 4   Be able to get information how to make questioning for dimensional and positioning issues 5   Be able to bring the studies as images and to gain knowledge about presentation techniques 6   Be able to prepare project in the context of GIS
