Course Objective

Be able to use professional knowledge for solving the designed complex geoscience problems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to use the basic mathematical and physical knowledge together with the geophysical knowledge.
2   To be able to understand the complex geoscientific problems.
3   To be able to apply geophysical knowledge for solving geoscientific problems.
4   To be able to interpret the results of the field by using together all findings of geophysical study.
5   To be able to evaluate a study together with related disciplines using traditional and cutting-edge methods and to be able to manage it by projecting as a result of a collaborative work.

Course Contents

1 General introducing of the course and introducing a geophysical problem
2 Project management training I (Project management and its phases, Project circle planning and programming, Project Supply Planning and management, project costs and Budgets), the presentation and computer applications of potential field related with the geophysical problem which were given at 1st week.
3 Project management training II (Project Identification and Management of Risk Monitoring and Evaluation Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities Properties, Project Teams and Team Building Project Communication, Termination of projects), the presentation and computer applications of potential field related with the geophysical problem which was given at 1st week.
4 The studies up to interpretation step about the complex problem which was designed at 1st week, assignment of homework.
5 The discussions about the homework given previous week and presentation of related complex geophysical problem.
6 The computer applications about the discussed subjects up to this week.
7 The discussions about the homework given previous week and the presentation of data processing.
8 The discussions about the homework given previous week and the presentation of data processing.
9 The presentation of data processing methods which were applied to the data of the designed complex geophysical problem
10 The presentation of data processing methods which were applied to the data of the designed complex geophysical problem.
11 The presentation of data processing methods which were applied to the data of the designed complex geophysical problem and discussing the homework.
