Course Objective

Within the scope of Construction Management topics, it includes calculations related to the cost and/or schedule of a construction project to be given to the student, producing the most appropriate solution proposals, completing, writing and presenting a project on the subject. The course requires a project proposal that will develop into a comprehensive graduation project, poster presentation and exhibition. Students also produce a final written assignment documenting their ideas and progress during the project. The course aims to provide students with the ability to conduct research, to apply the theoretically learned knowledge in practice, and to present scientific studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to interpret the knowledge gained during engineering education within the scope of Construction Management issues
2   To be able to classify the results obtained within the scope of the project according to their intended use
3   To be able to choose the necessary method in the project preparation phase
4   To be able to examine new methods related to building management with the developing technology
5   To be able to compare the data obtained during the project preparation phase
6   To be able to compile literature information on Construction Management applications
