Course Objective

To give theoretical and applied information in historical development of water structures:
2nd and 3rd Millennia B.C., first half of 1st Millennium B.C., second half of Millennium B.C., 1st Millennium A.D., 10-13 Centuries, 14-19 Centuries, Scientific developments in hydraulics and hydrology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Historic times to the present day, the things that done for water needs and the samples of structures,
2   Identify examples of the world and especially the samples in Anatolia,
3   To contribute to the formation of historical knowledge s of heritage,
4   Learn the historical development of hydraulic engineering and hydraulic engineering.
