Course Objective

It was aimed to teach the çivil endineering students initially, different earthquake types, different geolical faults, different earthquake statements. The defaults which cause damage to the structures will be considered according to earthquake resistant structural design. After that, different types of damages in structures will be studied. Than, repair and strengthening techniques will be studied in detail.
