Course Objective

The aim of the course is to give students basic information about supply chain management and logistics and to gain the ability to formulate basic problems in the supply chain with mathematical modeling.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to define basic concepts in supply chain management
2   Ability to formulate mathematical models to express supply chain and logistics problems.
3   Ability to solve strategic, tactical, operational supply chain modeling problems such as facility location and vehicle routing
4   Ability to employ the strategies and methods for distribution planning
5   .Ability to model and solve supply chain planning problems for different industries
