Course Objective

In changing global conditions, it is becoming increasingly important to design organizational structures that can effectively manage new technologies, structures and people. The aim of this course is to give information about classical and modern management approaches and organizational structures and to examine the problems that managers will face in the 21st century and the effects of globalization on management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identify the fundamental concepts of management, organizational structure, and management functions
2   Explain classic and modern management models and practices
3   Understanding of the role of management, and what the day to day dynamics of managerial work are
4   Develop an awareness of how individual managerial decisions affect the total organization and its environment
5   To take notice of social responsibility and business ethics
