Course Objective

This course aims to teach basic concepts, techniques and approaches of energy management, including energy systems, renewable and alternative energies, energy use, energy efficiency, energy economics, and energy policies, within a sustainability and green transformation viewpoint.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to comprehend the basic concepts of energy management and their importance
2   Able to have knowledge about the techniques and approaches used for effective management of energy systems within a perspective of sustainability and green transformation viewpoint
3   Able to prepare, report and present the project given regarding the course content according to the relevant project guideline

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The topics covered in the course will be explained using blackboard and visual presentation tools, and will be handled interactively in the form of questions-answers and discussions. The lectures will also be supported by case studies consisting of real-life applications related to the topics.
