Course Objective

The aim of the course In Business Process Management, in the life cycle; to show the stages of goal setting, process design, process implementation, process establishment and measurement, and process evaluation. Students are taught to analyze corporate performance from a process perspective, redesign processes with value-oriented techniques, and create and implement workflows.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge of the methods necessary to define, analyze and improve business processes.
2   To be able to understand Business Process Management notation and to develop business process models using this notation.
3   To be able to suggest improvements that can reveal weaknesses in a given process and increase organizational performance.
4   To be able to apply the methods described in the course with the help of computer software.
5   To be able to work on a project as a team using the methods described in the course.
