Course Objective

The objective of this course is to enable textile engineers to know the electronic elements they will encounter in their business life and to interpret the effects of these elements on the functioning of the systems. To form the basis for interdisciplinary studies with electrical and electronic engineers.

1   To describe basic concepts in electronics
2   To be able to identify the basic electronic components
3   To be able to determine electronic circuit analysis related to direct current
4   To be able to define the structures of sensors and logic gates
5   To get an overview of programmable logic coltrol

2 Passive Circuit Elements: Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor
3 Series and Parallel Connection
4 Electricity laws; Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws
5 Application and circuit analysis with Resistor , Capacitor, Inductor
6 Main active Circuit Elements: Diodes, Opamps, Transistors,
7 Application and circuit analysis with Diodes
8 Application and circuit analysis with Opamps
9 Application and circuit analysis with Transistors
10 Sensors
11 Fundamentals of Digital Electronics
12 Logic Gates and Boolean algebra
13 Introduction to PLC
