Course Objective

1.The course aims to support the students to gain knowledge about the main subsectors, job areas, scientific disciplines and technological developments in the electrical-electronics engineering field.
2.The course aims to cultivate basic skills in career planning and to facilitate the students awareness of ethical and professional issues.
3. The course aims to deliver information on the educational aims and outcomes of the whole undergraduate program as well as the learning outcomes and subjects of the courses.
4. The course aims to facilitate the students awareness of cognitive levels
5. History of engineering education and electrical engineering

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students are expected to learn the main subsectors, job areas, scientific disciplines and technological developments in the electrical-electronics engineering field.
2   The students are expected to gain basic skills in career planning and to understand the importance of the ethical and professional issues.
3   The students are expected to recognize the importance of the educational aims and outcomes of the whole undergraduate program as well as the learning outcomes of the courses.
4   The students are expected to be aware of cognitive levels of learning and learning style differences.
5   The students are expected to learn the milestones of scientific&technological developments in electrical-electronics engineering.
