Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with information about the measurement of basic pollutant parameters in both ambient air and pollutant sources to determine air pollution levels.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to recognize the tools and devices used in the measurement of air pollutants
2   Ability to establish sampling planning and measurement systems
3   Evaluating measurement data and results, comparing them with current legislation and preparing reports
4   Ability to detect errors and uncertainties in measurements
5   Ability to work in a team

6 Measurements of persistent organic pollutants (PAH, PCDD, PCDF)

10 Air Quality Measurements: Planning PM sampling and measurements, Measurements of gaseous pollutants
11 Passive Measurement Methods Measurements of organic pollutants (VOC, PAH, PCB) in outdoor air
