Course Objective

The objective of the course is to teach how to make cost estimations of infrastructures related to Environmental Engineering. In this contex the concept of tendering, tendiring types, preparations of tender documents, biding, contracting are also introduced and deliniate with typical examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know certain cost definitions of infrastructural systems, such as, quantity survey, unit price, reconnaissance, market price, market price analyses, etc.
2   To have knowledge about the tender and tendring types
3   To conduct quantity survey from the project samples
4   To select appropriate (corresponding) unit costs for each quantity
5   To conduct estimated cost tables and summary table
6   To evaluate the results of first estimation cost and asbuild cost
