Course Objective

General lay-out of an engineering system, the plan-section drawings. Commands for drawing two-dimensional AutoCad. In the sense of object based programming, learning object properties and object coupling groups.
Identify the features and styles in the drawing. Learning, technical drawing of a treatment system by use of a CAD program and plot of it in project format.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The geometric definition of an engineering system, the plan-section of technical drawings.
2   Learn how to use AutoCAD commands for drawing two-dimensional drawings.
3   Object properties, plot area, scale, drawing by using basic commands.
4   Learning, technical drawing of a treatment system by use of a CAD program and plot of it in project format.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Understand and practice the commands at the computer lab. Drawing treatment units and examples of project details every week. Towards the end of the course
as a homework project to draw one complex environmental system.
