Course Objective

Objectives of this course are to analyze the environmental systems via integrated approach and to give basic approaches for sustainable natural resources management and less waste production considering professional ethics and responsibility.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be aware of the need for sustainable development and protection of natural resources
2   To have knowledge about clean production technologies
3   Ability to discuss the applicability of waste reduction techniques in different production processes
4   To have knowledge about current approaches such as life cycle analysis to determine the environmental impacts of products
5   Ability to predict and manage risks that may arise from waste in engineering applications
