Course Objective

This lecture's aim is that the students can realize the main information related to air
pollution and control. In the scope of lecture, air pollutants, air pollution sources,
pollutant dispersion, control techniques, and management of air quality are taught, and
the exam, quiz, homework, and project are applied during the term.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gaining basic knowledge about air pollution and its control..
2   To be able to define air pollution problems and explain their causes.
3   To be able to plan measurement, analysis and data collection processes in order to determine the source and size of the air pollution problem.
4   To be able to offer alternative solutions to air pollution problems.
5   Planning and realizing air quality management within the framework of sustainability.
