Course Objective

It is to explain the basic function of the fiscal structure, which is one of the important indicators that reveal the state of the country's economies, to introduce the institutions in the public sector fiscal structure in Türkiye, and to try to reveal the roles and effects of these institutions in the fiscal structure.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the concept of structure, fiscal structure, to explain the factors affecting the formation of the fiscal structure.
2   To be able to identify and evaluate the administrative structure in the provision of public services.
3   To be able to explain the place and size of the public economy in Türkiye.
4   To be able to analyze the financial functions of public institutions and organizations within and outside the central government
5   To be able to evaluate the financial structuring outside the central government
6   To be able to list the financial audit institutions that audit the public sector and compare their duties and functions.

6 Important institutions affiliated to the presidency within the public sector financial structure - Türkiye Wealth Fund, Savings Deposit Insurance Fund
7 Important ministries within the public sector fiscal structure - Ministry of Treasury and Finance
