Course Objective

With this course, it is aimed to teach the general principles of object-oriented programming using Java programming language and to teach the main concepts of object-oriented programming.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1.Students who complete this course can use the basic features of object-oriented programming,
2   2.Students who complete this course can use loop and control commands in Java,
3   3. Students who complete this course can develop simple user interfaces with Java programming language,
4   4. Students who complete this course can write data into database and retrieve data from database,
5   5. Students who complete this course can develop programs using Java programming language.

Theoretical background is explained in details with presentations. Examples aiming to familiarize the students to possible problems related to subjects are given during lecture hours.
