Course Objective

The main objective of the course is to give the student the ability to form an econometric model based on economic theory.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Distinguish the difference between time and cross-section data.
2   Define the purposes of econometric model based on economic theory.
3   Select the model with appropriate econometric method.
4   Analyze the assumptions for the econometric model
5   Draw conclusions based on the econometric model s results
6   Use econometric software to build and interpret a model.
