Course Objective

This course aims to make students familiar with the varieties of national welfare and production systems which share a common history.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To identify the functioning of the specific institutions of the current welfare state systems 2   To clarify the specific features and comparative advantages of national production systems 3   To show the micro-level resources of institutions which shape the behaviour of actors and support the existing institutional infrastructure. 4   To compare different welfare state systems 5   To argue the transformation of welfare state systems.
