Course Objective

It is aimed to teach students the concept of the social security, to promote its historical background and its international dimension, to explain the premium and without premium system in Turkish Social Security Law and also to teach them the scope of the Law numbered 5510, its application and financing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define concepts of Social law, social security and social insurance
2   Being able to compare the ınternational social security contracts with Turkish social security law outlined in legislation
3   Being able to evaluate the premium and without premium system regulation in an aspect of legal scope and conditions
4   Being able to specify the scope of the Law numbered 5510 according to the beneficiaries
5   Being able to differentiate short term insurance branches' rights and acts related to the types of the insured person
