Course Objective

To give the necessary theoretical knowledge to economics, to use the concepts of basic macro-economic and macro-economic events set up to analyze the relationship between cause and effect.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain macro-economic concepts
2   To be able to examine macro economic policies within the framework of macro-economics policies
3   To be able to analyze General Equilibrium in the model of Classical and Keynesian
4   To be able to discuss employment, unemployment and inflation relationship and their policies
5   To be able to draw conclusions by the way of examples from the economic crisis and stabilization policies
6   To be able to analyze in a macro perspective what students have learned in the lesson plan

1 Introduction: The emergence of macroeconomics, A general overview of macroeconomics (What is macroeconomics What subjets does it cover ), Macroeconomic problems in general (economic growth problem, the problem of inflation, unemployment, problem, internal and external debt problem, external deficits)
2 Measurement of the Economy I: National Income as general, Basic Concepts of National Income (Gross Domestic Product, Gross National Product, Net Domestic Product, Net National Product, Domestic Income, Natonal Income, Personal Income, Disposable Income).
3 Measurement of the Economy II: Nominal GDP and Real GDP distinction, Measurement of Gross Domestic Product (Calculation from Production (Production Method), With Respect to Sharing Calculation (Income Method), from Spending Calculator (Expenditure Method)).
4 Measurement of the Economy III: Basic national income identities, Economic Growth (Definition and measurement methods).
5 Measurement of the Economy IV: Employment and its measurement (Concepts releated to employment, indicators releated to the labour market, Unemployment, Disadvantages of unemployment and Types of unemployment (Public-Hidden, Voluntary-Nonvoluntary, Natural (Frictional, Structural, Cyclical, Seasonal).
6 Measuring the Economy V: Inflation and its measurement (Definition and Scope, Types, Method of calculation with indices Method, Price indices (Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, GDP Deflator)).
7 Simple Keynesian Model I: Elements of aggregate demand (Consumption, Investment).
8 Simple Keynesian Model II: Elements of aggregate demand (Public Expenditures, Net External Demand), Equilibrium in the goods market.
9 Simple Keynesian Model III: Aggregate Demand Changes and the Multiplier Mechanism.
10 Simple Keynesian Model IV: Saving Paradox, Deflationary deficit, Inflationary deficit.
11 National Income and Interest Rate I: The equilibrium in the goods market (IS Curve).
12 National Income and Interest Rate II: The equilibrium in the money market (LM Curve).
13 National Income and Interest Rate III: Equilibrium in goods and money markets together.
14 National Income and Interest Rate IV: Monetary and fiscal policies in terms of demand management.
