Course Objective

The aim of this course is to explain partial equilibriums in perfect competition between economic decision-making units and the goods, services markets.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the economic facts.
2   To be able to explain the axioms intended to identify economic facts.
3   To be able to explain the commodity markets based firm and industry analysis in the imperfect comptetiton with examples.
4   To be able to evaluate the competitiveness of firms under different assumptions.
5   To be able to discuss the cases of firm and industry in the context of markets with distinguishing aspects.
6   To be able explain the general equilibrum analysis depending on the accumulation based on commodity the factor markets (Welfare Economics)
7   To be able conclude based on the profit function as such to get ahead the firm and industry based competition (production, price, market share etc.)
8   To be able to compare measurable techniques in terms of efficiency

1 Goods Markets: Equilibrum in the perfect competitive markets and lond run industrial equilibrum and optimal distribution of sources: economies of scale
2 Goods markets in the imperfect competition: equilibrum analysis in the monopoly, marginal revenue - elasticity relationship and mathematic based applications.
3 Goods markets in the imperfect competition: Government intervention in a monopoly market
4 Price differentation and equilibrum analysis in the oligopoly (mathematic based applications)
5 Negotiated oligopolistic models and mathematic based applications
6 Non-negotiated oligopolistic models and mathematic based applications
7 Equilibrum analysis in the monopolistic competitive and mathematic based applications
8 Factor markets: factor market based analyzing tools in the perfect competition
9 Labor market based demand and supply curves
10 Firm/Industry equilibrum in the labor markets and mathematic based applications
11 Labor market based analysis in the imperfect competition and mathematic based applications
12 Welfare economics: partial and general equilibrum differentation
13 Efficiency in the pure exchange economy and Walras Law
14 Efficiency in the production and simultaneous equilibrum

As well as discussing about the facts and the lecture in the class, suitable with the theoritical framework every subject will be supported by the mathematical applications in the computing environment.
