Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with various significant aspects of the long-standing Türkiye-EU relations. The focus will be on particularly the historical, political, economic, and cultural aspects of that relationship.

1. Will describe and explain different dimensions of Türkiye-EU relations.
2. Will identify the role of Europe/EU in the political and economic development of Türkiye.
3. Will critically analyze the prospects as well as challenges for the further development of Türkiye-EU relations.
4. Will use IT knowledge to prepare presentations.
5. Will be able to express views in a clear, precise and self-confident manner.
6. Will be able to make critical and reasoned argument.
7. Will find, use and analyze data relevant to the course.
