To use of Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) equipments
To gain basic principles about Maritime Communication

1   An ability to communicate effectively with GMDSS equipments.
2   Having knowledge about national and international regulations about GMDSS
3   The use of the correct procedures to emergency communications.
4   Having knowledge about control, test and maintenance of GMDSS equipments
5   To find solutions to the problems of safety of maritime transport, maritime communication and emergency situation
